Oxygen free, directional ones, obviously - I wouldn't want to risk having less bright colours.
er, actually nice cheap ones, but ones which won't fall apart after 6 months.
I brought all mine from Amazon. They were about £4 each. They transport the signal from the device to the tv. Job done.
Aldi 2 for £4 iirc
The last ones I bought to hide in a wall were from screwfix
http://www.screwfix.com/p/labgear-hdmi-lead-19-pin-gold-3m/51058
The quality is good and they are well priced (compared to some).
The link is for a 3m but they stock loads of sizes.
I avoided buying from the likes of amazon as quality varies wildly and fakes are common. Not that I think picture quality will be affected but I don't want to be fishing a duff one back through the wall in 6 months time.
amazon own brand jobbies
poundland for.. you guessed it.
ones which won't fall apart
Just leave them plugged in, then they don't fall apart. Skipping ruins them I find.
dez, I thought you wouldn't get skipping with hdmi
I sell em, from 1.5 mtr up to 20mtr. cheap too.

Only cheap ones 😉
These Audioquest Diamond ones seem good value at £8800.... 😯
Used a couple of That Cable ones - their stuff seems pretty good and actually good value, as opposed to the above mickey take.
+1 for Amazon Basics.
As an aside, i note there's hdmi 'with ethernet' cables...so does that mean if i use one to connect my humax youview box to my smart tv, the smart tv can use the internet connection rather than relying on its own wifi connection?
Another vote for That Cable - whenever I've needed a cable they've either been cheaper or had a specific cable in stock.
