Disturbing news from the NHW
Someone is putting signs up, someone else is taking them down, this has caused a massive manhunt!!!
Attention to:- At the combined Springfield Neighbourhood and NHW meeting Thursday, PCSO *********** asked for assistance in tracking/tracing a male responsible for putting up many notices on trees, fences etc appertaining to dog walkers not picking up their pet dogs waste.For many weeks this unknown male has been putting small framed notices up, some at high level. A drill and implements have been discovered and the frames had/have metal re-enforcing metal corner brackets fitted.
Unfortunately another male has been removing the notices and some notices have been sprayed over. Somehow the self appointed anti- dog waste person has captured a photograph of the second male and is now distributing pictures of him throughout the Arun Close, Seven Ash Green recreational woodland areas.
This activity is causing much distress to several dog walkers and other people.
Description of suspect male wanted by police for questioning:- A white male, 5 .10” med build, pot belly, very short grey hair ( could look bald), glasses, wears a dark blue hoody, light blue jeans, and brown DMs.
Same person seen on several occasions, jogging/running in black lycra shorts, purple or white T shirt, grey trainers. Arbour Lane area.
Seen on the river walks, Staples end, maybe using Chichester Road as an entry or exit point. Seen by dog walkers at dusk yesterday, loitering and hanging about Arun Close Park, Car Park. (in bushes) Police were informed.
What should you do, do not approach him, inform the police or myself of any sightings. Where does he live and do you know him? Remember this is a suspect not a definitive wrong doer.

I would find man with pot belly in lycra short much more offensive than dog sh1t.
Called out and not liking it. More people should take a stand against dog owners who don't pick up their waste. It's disgusting. I've had it on my drinks bottle several times and many more times on my person and bike.
Photographing and publishing images of random people is a bit much though.
