Got a speeding ticket. Was a fair enough cop - had a lapse of concentration on a dual carriageway as it went from 60 to 40.
Anyway having sent all payment details and license off to get my 3points and fine i get a letter in the post with my license back saying the ticket issued has been cancelled and my payment returned! Is this common? Ever happened to anyone else? Just wondering What kind of thing might result in this and if i should buy a lottery ticket.

Could be that the camera was faulty/not calibrated correctly?
