When I try to go to metoffice.gov.uk this morning my browser (chrome) doesn't take me there - instead it downloads a file called "download".

I get the same thing whether I type in the URL or google it and click on the link.

Any IT experts on here who can see what's going on?

Fine here. Does the URL redirect, what's it say in the bar?

Lot of chrome redirect trojans about at the moment. Sounds like you have one.
