Well thats got to be better than a free luke warm burger.

Fyi bike shed? Have you been near a uni recently? Did you actually mean behind the row of badly parked but brand new lease cars?

You can get a 6 month Amazon prime trial, and half price after that. Only thing I really used mine for.

10% off at Co-op on their own brand stuff.

(I've not bought a large McD in ages due to the free cheeseburger thing. Plus my kids think it's ace).

So true. Stirling Uni at 9am has lines of new Aygo's and Fiesta's circling in the hope of a parking space. Then they just dump it on nearest verge or pavement, this allows them to waddle to lectures in their UGG boots with Costa cup in hand just in time.

Studentbeans and unidays are good places to look at for student discounts.

Freshers fair is the best time to stock up on calendars, dominos coupons, and other stuff.

The council tax exemption is probably the best  freebie you'll get.

The only ones I have found which I have used that are not on Unidays, are the 10% off in Co-op (in the stores which accept it)  and Surfdome

Council tax... Well i still get a full salary so as much as i'd like to save the cash morally i'd feel pretty shitty also other half renders that a non starter i think.

Top shop... Sweeeeeet

Co-op is dear as ****, so 10% won't make much difference!

Spotify one is only good if you're on your tod really, as you can get a family one, 6 accounts for 15 quid IIRC.

New look clothes are better quality than TopShop I reckon, and a bit less fashiony, hoodies are great as are their jeans. 10% at NL.

dominos coupons

Oooo, is there a student discount? Or just vouchers? Pizza Hut delivery is usually £1 cheaper anyway for collection only deals.

council tax is only if you are a full time student and everyone in the home is a student.

Bus fares is a good one.

Fresher...." I think I should get a bike while I am at Uni"

Doting parent.... " Good idea sweatheart,it will be great for getting between halls and lectures, here's a few hundred pounds"

Fresher.... "Thanks, this is going to be great"

3 months later....

lost dreams

Should be a discount on bus tickets. It's £1 in Sheffield for anywhere in the city and up to the Derbyshire border (fox house pub). Loads of places do a student discount, no harm in asking when you're in a shop.

I believe topman / Topshop will drop down to 10% before long, usually only 20% for a short while after uni begins

Ask for a student discount voucher book next time you're in Wetherspoons, if you frequent such places that is. I do and would like one but I'm no student!
