If so what did you win ?
Quite a lot of email spam. Not sure that that can be considered a prize though.
Google Rewards is OK, they give you a few pence for going "no, I'm not a student." It's come in handy when I've spent several hundred pounds on a phone and then begrudge 67p for an app. 😁
Yes! £50 Amazon voucher from LadBible of all places (I've recently turned 50 so probably not their demographic?!)
Got myself a nice Dakine Bumbag, thankyouverymuch 🙂
Free doughballs from Pizza Express
As a slightly overly earnest teenager who wanted to be “individual, just like everyone else” I put my name down for a home design shop prize draw for a store called Utility in Liverpool.
Only thing I ever won, also likely the only person who entered on their website way back in 2002.
I won a copy of “Fresh Fruits” Japanese street fashion photography collection. Nice coffee table book but not what I was really interested in.
Gave it to charity last year when clearing my stuff at my parents and they are selling for £120 online second hand apparently 😢

A decent quality treadmill, a track day with Toyota back when they released the MR2 roadster, a Wahoo Bolt.
A tee shirt from ukclimbing
A flight in a two person Spitfire..... WOW.
Got to Goodwood and got bummed over in just a flight in a Cessna. Because the Spitfire was elsewhere 🙁
See pissed off about that :-(.. Must off been around 1985 from an Atari computer mag of the day.
Gorrilla Poad, Tee Shirt and Brian Lopes book from YourMTB.com.
No from forms, but photograph submissions.
YourMTB is no more.... still got all those items. And a Scrable Hydro Bag.
Won a nice pair of Ted Baker jeans many years ago. Sadly although fitted round the waist they were not suited for my backside and thighs and ended up giving them away.
Yes. Many many many moons ago I won a caterham 7 kit from a car magazine survey. Really enjoyed building and driving it
£50 in WHSmith vouchers when I was 12 (went on Lego). Think it was from a survey in a WhizzKids activity pack?
A pair of tyres for my car (well, a refund on the ones I'd just bought) from Goodyear via Kwik Fit.
Some model railway building kits from my local hobby shop via a Lima survey.
Couple of things over the years:
£5k trip to the states in 1998, after giving my details in exchange for a free packet of marlboro in a night club
Original iPhone + a years contract. Swapped that for an iPod instead because the original iPhone was a bit useless.*
I also went through a period of "comping" about 10 years ago and didn't win anything.
* yes, if I'd taken it and kept it in a drawer unopened it would sell now for about a £100k , you can file that one in the regrets thread 🙂
When I was 9 I flew out to Gibraltar with my cousin of the same age. There was a dressing competition.
My uncle drew the picture and I won a little Gibraltar Airways pilot teddy bear complete with uniform.
A teeny Swiss army knife, a cheapo travel mug and a pen. Woohoo!
A thing came round at work from a law firm exploring representing cyclists. Had to answer a few questions, won a £50 Halfords voucher which paid for a light.
Mrs S filled ina survey for BBC's commercial website around 2000. Name out of the hat and £10k to spend anywhere that linked from their website. 2 new to us cars and a stack of other bits as we had to spend it all or lose the change and the admin pissed her off so much we had packs of Duracell AA and AAA batteries to use it all up!
Yes.
I won a week all expenses paid in Spain driving flash cars courtesy of Continental Tyres as a result of filling in a survey and submitting a receipt for a tyre.
They gave us some nice cars to tool around with and put us up in a fancy golf resort

That’s outside the Ronda bull ring, where you’re not normally allowed to park…
The hotel ‘garage’…

We also got a day at Mercedes Benz World at Brooklands as part of it as well.
Not a bad 40th birthday present and probably explains why I still ride GP5000s…
No
A few years back they did a survey in our local high street. It was fairly random questions like 'what was your first pet?', 'the name of your best friend' etc. (you can probably see where this was going). All those who completed the survey won a £100 voucher. They just needed your bank details to send it to...
Thankfully it was a security company and the people actually won a lecture about not being so stupid and giving basically enough personal info to wipe them out.
Holiday in Mauritius, other half filled out a hire car company survey on the flight home...from Mauritius!
Nah, but then I can never summon up any enthusiasm for doing surveys.
Did a Salomon adventure race years ago and filled in the survey that came round after.
Won a weekend in Malmaison in Manchester, with a Saab* car provided for the weekend, and a paragliding lesson up on the moors - was a brilliant weekend 😀
There was a text box that asked if you'd considered a Saab as your next car. So I laid it on thick that I'd always loved the design of Saabs, loved their Scandi origins, and that I was considering buying one as my next car in the coming weeks, but that i was also considering X alternative. I've alwsys assumed that's what got me the prize, as i had a number of follow up calls after the weekend...but was perfectly happy with my car at the time and wasnt a Saab fan 🤣
I won a 'Dalesman Cheese' branded frisbee as a kid for filling something in. Was more excited than the situation probably merited! I used to fill in and send off for all the gubbins on cereal packs. Highlights included a Matchbox Tony the Tiger car and membership of some kind of Weetabix fan club 😎
