Spent an hour or so on-line last night, looking for a few events to do next year, and noticed that a fair few are run by smallish charities as a fundraiser.
My wife is the chair of the PTA at my daughters School, and we are always looking for new fundraising ideas.
Anyone done it?
We live in Farnborough (Bromley) so on the edge of the North Downs, there are limitless options for pretty good routes of varying difficulty.
Please share your experiences - good/bad/indifferent.
This would be for summer 2016, I'm going to do a few events next year and see what works....
Find a local cycling club that runs events.
Their events secretary should be able to offer advice, especially in your local area.
