We've seen a campervan that we're keen on but it is for sale via a broker. It's a bit like buying 2nd hand except that the broker mediates between the parties. The seller pays his fees and I pay nowt.
I've never done this before so it all seems a bit weird.
Has anyone bought a campervan in this way?
A friend of mine did, he bought one for £18k it needed a service which was taken off the asking price. He went along paid up and took it away. Unfortunately when the service was done they found some damp in the roof which he reported to the broker who promptly refunded his money and he took it back.
Although the campervan didn't work out, using the broker did.

thanks - that sounds very positive
by the way, do you which broker it was?
Most boats are sold this way.
What sort of camper as a friend has hers stored at my premises whilst it's for sale.
Loads of campers sold like this. If the broker has a decent reputation it's a very good way to buy.

Give them a ring and see if they have any coming up for sale soon.
