For yesterday. Although I'm sure celebrations are ongoing across the various time zones.
I like snakes. I think they get a bad rap generally, but are usually pretty mellow. When we were kids there was this Joe Exotic type character who used to bring one into school to let the kids have a go on it. This was the 80's though. But still can't remember it squeezing/swallowing any kids to death.

Ruptured lower intestine, looks like run over by a bike as very small injury area. I assumed it would die.

Corker of a viper/adder that I almost ran over near Braemar. I had one at Dunkeld in April rear up at me like a car suspension coil, threatening me but actually beating a tactical retreat (I was hiding behind my bike, we'd both scared each other shitless!).
