Just as I was about to get up from my chair to go downstairs and get some food, my wife came in and handed me some lunch 🙂

Suspicious! What's going on downstairs that she doesn't want you to know about?

And what was weird was that you were flying a 747 at the time?

Being a pilot married to a stewardess could be fun!

Lol@Kryton. Did you make this sandwich then?

Reasons to be cheerful

Ambulanced into hospital in a strange town with a suspected heart attack, nearly 10 hours in A&E because there were no free beds.
1 - still alive
2 - not a heart attack

Isn't this just one of those "good customer service" threads where the person was doing their job??

Perhaps it was an iffy kebab like that bloke had in the sandwich thread?

No idea, after 10 hrs, once confirmed not heart problem, they started talking keeping me in for a night for obs to find out what it was. My attitude, not my heart, I'm happy to get out. Appointment with GP on Monday, will post if anyone's particularly interested.
However, curry the night before suggests MrOvershoot may not be too far off the mark. But the pain was like nothing I've ever had before, not even the lumbar puncture I had a s a kid.

Yay, I've just found my two backup hard drives! I put them "somewhere safe" when we went on holiday at Easter and promptly forgot where. Probably not quite as happy as Molly's missus, but there you go.

Yeah, cos it'd have been 9 years ago and we'd have had no kids so we could've had a bit more lunchtime diversion 🙂

Now THAT'S what I call rising damp!

Just insured my car for £200 less than last year.
Liverpool Victoria - damn good service.
