All about Shooter Mcgavin.
Happy Gilmore is perfect. LOVE that film.

Never actually watched this!
I see it's on Netflix, I'll watch that tonight.👍
You'll be glad you did.
Best sporting documentary ever made.
Or maybe not. 😁
Never seen it. As it’s Adam Sandler it will be average or astronomically shite, some of his earlier stuff was ‘Ok’ then it just rapidly turned to the same churned out rubbish.

It'll be 2 hrs well spent..

Wrong..Happy Gilmore is an oasis of comedy genius in a desert of absolute crap Adam Sandler films. 99% of the film's he's made are awful, but Happy Gilmore is actually brilliant.
GO HOME BALL GO HOME...😂

I concur. Drac clearly spends more time in the sand than David Hasselhoff.
never pasted a tweet before, fingers crossed!
And agreed, it's a fabulous film. Love it!
@drac it's all in the hips. Meet me at 9pm at the 18th green and we can talk about it. Pro's only
edit: just watched that tweet haha!
"You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?" might still be my favourite film quote of all time. Love that film. 😀

Released 1996, between Billy Madison (1995) and The Waterboy (1998). Sandler at his excellent prime.
Along with Jim Carey's mid 90s films, that's my favourite era of comedy.
Everything Sandler has done post Little Nicky (2000) is awful.
The bar scene with half the bottle is a personal favourite. Will be watching this at some point in the coming days! Nice Lee Travino cameo too.

I'd have concurred, but having rewatched Ace Ventura recently it hadn't aged well, what with the casual homophobia and sexism. 😟
I watched Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison with my boys (11 and nearly 13) a couple of months ago.
They thoroughly enjoyed them probably as they are not really appropriate...
Happy Gilmore is an oasis of comedy genius
Only if you enjoy Sandler's particular schtick. Otherwise it's unwatchable cringworthy crap, innit.
Hey, why don't I just go eat some hay, make things out of clay, lay by the bay? I just may! What'd ya say?
And still as funny today as it was back then! One of my all time faves

Uncut Gems was released in 2019.
He makes different kinds of films for different audiences.
