Guidedogs here - the lab has been with us a year and is about to leave us to become a breeder. He’s helping us train his replacement for a few weeks first.
Our guide dog puppy (mason) is coming up a year old, just had the questionnaire through about him. Bittersweet time ahead.
Your new pup looks gorgeous, our first puppy was a german shepherd.....
@onzadog may just be edging it, but all fab pics of happy/content doggos 🙂

we’re trying to remain upbeat about losing gryff - he’s a truly exceptional dog, but we’re reminding ourselves that hundreds of mini gryffs can only be a good thing for the world. Whoever get to be his stud holder when he goes to leamington spa is getting an awesome deal
the new one is our first GSD. Wouldn’t otherwise be my top choice of dog in a world where labradors exist but we’re well up of the challenge.
They are a whole different kettle of fish to labs..... we always knew when someone was coming to the door 😉
Don't be surprised if he has an ikky tummy..... I seemed to be ringing the health line on a weekly basis
We are now raising one of his half brothers, same mum but a golden retriever dad. He has turned out to be an exceptional dog, if he doesn't make it then I will be devastated
These 2 are always happy when out in the woods
And my favourite from when the little one had just come home, think her older sister is pretending not to know her
@mikkel - younger smaller dog has already worked out she's going to annoy the heck out of the older one 🙂
@supernova - great pics
I could probably contribute a lot more pics if I'd started 'sleep dogs pics' instead. 🙂

@Alex she gave it her best shot but they got on really fast, we have been very lucky with that
Sleeping dogs are happy dogs
@mikkel - our black lab did a lot of that contented sleeping thing. Lost him last year at 15, couldn't imagine not having a dog. Just need to convince the better half we need two again 🙂

If he wasn't sleeping (in front of the fire was his fav place), Murf was definitely happiest when collecting the biggest stick he could find. Well being a Lab, I guess food was the thing that made him very happy 🙂
That’s Sherlock who is one of our many doggy customers. Fox terrier is definitely on the list once we retire.
Lola has just been to the vet's.
She loves the vets, despite a finger up the bum every two months. Paws up to say hi to the receptionists etc, refuses to leave until she has had a sniff behind reception etc.
Treat dutifully given.

Bridget (puppy) and Bonnie (labxshepherd). Six months together before Bonnie passed away last year aged eleven. Very sad but Bridget picked up a lot from the older dog. Including the fact that for years Bonnie would sit on the bed whilst we read our lad his bedtime story. For a few days after she died there was an empty space and then suddenly Bridget appeared and lay in the exact same space. Very emotional!

Riley.
Living the life of Riley.

Ruby being Ruby. I think this is the first pic I've posted without having to host it elsewhere 🤣
Some screen grabs from this lunatics zoomies session yesterday.

Yup. Tired but content here 🐶

And a few minutes later

Haha, that's accurate. Love it.

happy just now because I opened a packet of crisps in front of him 😆

Ivy the Kokoni.
when she's not snoozing she's enjoing a good bellyrub or taking the sun.

Chewie wants treats
Edit - where have ALL the functions gone!
Chewie saw me put the treats in my pocket!
Geoff being a bit windswept
If anyone was in the Innerleithen taphouse yesterday you probably met Lola the happy dog 😂
She was certainly trying to meet everyone.
Sorry, another one of these 2! They're being taken to the Lake District for a week from tomorrow, I'm gonna miss em 🙁
The doggy version of the red arrows. Coming soon to a air show near you

Took these three out to the daffodil triangle. Muddy but nice.
The yellow one is a foster desperate for a forever home. Very loving, pretty well trained, quite high energy. She runs at heel really nicely. Has a few issues but we've fostered much worse, if anyone knows anyone that is looking get in touch.
That's a beautiful lab (they all are obvs) hope she gets a lovely home. Lola is probably not at second dog yet after 2years of hardwork she will play with some. Or I would be dropped that photo into conversation.
Currently sleeping off a weekend of taproom and cragside being the centre of small boy arguments.

The much missed Roxie. Not only a happy dog, but one that really lifted your spirits on a daily basis.
