As many of you know, I posted a thread the other day about not feeling so well. The comments there, as well as two personal messages sent to me - one of which came from STW towers - have been incredibly kind and helpful.
I want to express my public thanks to all of you, especially the good folk of STW who make this possible, and wish you a very happy Christmas. Whatever you've got going on in your life, whether good or bad, is always better when shared, and short of being in the same room with people you love, this place has to be among the best.

There's a lot of petty nonsense and posturing on here, with occasional ridiculous posturing and bellendery, but there is also a lot of knowledge, care, sensitivity and expert advice. It's like a large extended, invisible family, and I'd never want it to change.
Wherever you are, however you celebrate or not, I wish you a peaceful and contented time this Christmas.

This years highlights personally- I’ve been offered a lend of a dishwasher, as well as an offer of a car to use for a couple of months. I mean that really takes the biscuit. User name didn’t exactly instil a sense of safety but crikey, what an offer!
