Not sure if this is a chat or bike subject, possibly both, but I’ll put it here and see how much traction it has.
I know there are female cyclists here, and I’m pretty sure they have issues with saddles and comfort, but reading this article has opened my eyes to just how much of a problem it can be! God knows I’ve gone through a bunch of different saddles over the years, trying to find one that’s really comfy, but it can be even more difficult for women cyclists, in particular professionals, just down to the hours spent riding.

Until I read the article I hadn't realised the difficulties faced by female athletes.  It's a 100,% certainty that if males had been suffering a problem this would have been sorted ages ago (and in fact has been).

I read about that when I posted this, about the same saddles they are (ahem) advertising in the article:

I dunno though, if I sport is so wrong for you that it wrecks your body and causes infection/pain etc wouldn't you just choose something else? Like, hmm I got my nose broken trying boxing, didn't like that so took up kite flying.
