Just reached the point of feeling ravenous. Leftover roast beef and grilled cheese baguette has gone down very nicely.

Combinations of leftover food..
Just call it artisan fusion Street food to make it sound better if you like!

Also neck a pint of water before bed to stave off the enevitable dehydration in the morning!

I've side stepped that thorny issue by not going to bed

McDonalds sausage and egg muffins. Only drawback is you have to be up and able to drive before 10am. Unless you can get it delivered.

One assumes the point of the Macdonald's breakfast is to induce the vomiting ?

Last night's cold pizza is always a winner.

Even better if doner calzone

Cheese on toast if you managed to eat it all on the bus home....

Mac D's is excellent, nothing vaguely tasty to upset the system, loads of carbs and sugar plus a big fizzy, sugary drink. Kill or cure, keep that lot down and you're fine, if not at least you're cleared out ready for a restart.

If ‘kill or cure’ is your preferred MO, then it has to be a Bloody Mary.

When I have a really bad hangover the only palatable solution is a sugary drink (coke) followed by salt & vinegar crisps. Lots of crisps.

This. Its a genuine cure and I have been using it for about 20 years.

Caffeinated electrolyte drinks work wonderfully. Some caffeine to give you a kick and you'll be re-hydrating too. Flat full fat Coke works the same way but with added sugar.

Food wise, toast with butter and marmalade if the hang is bad, bacon and sausage sarny if it's a light hang.

I didn't even have a drink (alcoholic) yesterday and I've just wilder down an early lunch of grilled cheese, with a bit of decent chutney of course. Bloody lovely, it's just the time of year for eating EVERYTHING!

And a cheeky line or two for the ultimate Breakfast of Champions upgrade. That’ll set you right up for the day ahead.

Only real cure for a proper hangover is more alcohol and slowly get it out of your system.
Couple of beers for breakfast, three for lunch, two for dinner and one before bed and you'll be feeling fine next morning. 😉

High 5 electrolyte tabs see far more hangovers than sport sessions these days.
