I feel relieved and excited and worried. Been there over 8 years the last 18 months have been far from enjoyable there and I simply feel I need to move on before I get ill.

In the last few months my team has been getting split out from my department to regional departments and I felt it only a matter of time that I'd have nobody left to manage.

Also, the industry I am in is started declining. Whilst the company is diversifying, the staff are not and so ultimately feel will simply be left behind.

Plan is to go back to land surveying. A trade I used to do some time ago. I still know plenty of people involved in that game and a lot of people who need that type of work doing so fingers crossed....been promised work from numerous sources already and January looks busy as does most of February currently.

I am glad to be leaving the procedure driven corporate madness behind.

If anyone needs any surveying carrying out, drop me a line on here. 😀

A bit civilised is it not? What's up with curling one out on the bosses desk?

Bloody amateurs... 🙄

Eat a jar of pickled eggs, first. We know you can do it. Or cut the heads off all the parking meters.
