Anyone got half frame films developed and can make a recommendation?
it makes me nervous that i send the film away and they've no idea whats going on with 72 photos
Are you wanting develop only ?
I guess even if its develop only you could be nervous of the negative cutter, but only if its colour film,
If shooting slide film - that would be very brave , I am sure the mounts are unavailable.
Eh... Thanks?! You came at me with technical words there.
I have an old olympus pen i just want to get the photos out and into something viewable.
Just have visions of lots of sliced up picture 😂
I've developed half frame at home, no different to developing 36 frames. IIRC my scanning software has a half frame setting, so I didn't have to scan and crop, it just happened automagically. Worst case I guess they'd charge you more for scanning 72 photos. I'd be happy to do it for you but I've more or less given up shooting colour, I shot so few rolls the chemicals died before I managed to use them up, so it got expensive.
Is it colour film? if so it will likely be processed in a machine uncut for developing and printing.
If its B&W it will most likely be done manually for development and scan/print in a machine ,
If the developers don`t advise on their web site then just contact them to check - it should not be a problem.
Just ensure its marked 1/2 frame
