Not Alestorm but Halestorm a band that have caught my ear after an email today.
Maybe they are just the new Paramore but since Hayley stopped having red hair that didn't work for me.
Nothing new but nothing bad either. I'm keeping my eye out for a festival I can get to.
I discovered them by accident at Donington a few years ago, they're ace. Just recently announced a few dates in the UK next year.
Further listening: The Pretty Reckless.
Indeed. I've seen them twice and rate Going To Hell as one of the great albums. Tyler Momson's voice was unbelievable for someone her age.
Have a listen to yonaka..
Also check out Devilskin and Deap Vally.
And Rews.
Halestorm are great. Proper old school band. Surprised that they're headlining arenas though.
Worth checking out the youtube duet with Eric Church.
Maybe they are just the new Paramore
they've been going since lzzy was about 12 so hardly the "new paramore" been around just as long if not longer. they play good old honest rock n roll and Lzzy is a great advocate for women's empowerment, mental health awareness & the equal rights of the lgbt community

The music is too loud ...
You need Isao Tomita. 😀

And has a MONSTROUS set of pipes on her! To paraphrase Wayne, she can wail!
Love Halestorm! Seen them live with Alter Bridge and Black Stone Cherry a few times. Girls got a set of lungs on her!
I've seen Halestorm a few times and they put on an awesome show - some of the best gigs I've been too, especially when supporting Shinedown. If your taste stretches up to the heavier end of the spectrum then they're being supported by In This Moment and New Year's Day next November.
Have a listen to Adelitas Way and Shamans Harvest too - they're not female fronted but worth a listen if you're into rock/hard rock. Put Delain in your playlist if you appreciate vocals more than the music.
Edit: Cold Kingdom too!
