Never mind fancy hairstyles Tj, you ought to be having solar panels fixed to your head. Be the change you want to see...

You nail it with the LLB look tj. Flaunt your mane and ignore the unkind male hair-envy on here.

Eh hem. No envy from me. Somewhat off TJ's age but I can hear my hair growing at night.
A new hairstyle lasts a week.

I am disappointed. Been waiting all afternoon for the reveal and am nearly giving up hope of seeing the results of Scotland's best hairdressers.

Ok.  A 4 month on update.  I appear to have a shrubbery on my head

free image hosting

Edit:  In the end I only got the back cut so I didn't end up with a mullet.  Its longer than it looks.  Its almost there for a man bun 🙂

Have to do something with it.  Most of it is still a grown out buzz cut so all the same length and its about 7" long now

I have just wet it and slapped some "product" on to tame it.  I'll post another pic once its dried.

When you say "wax", did you have to melt it over a stove?

In both unwaxed and waxed versions you look like Sandi Toksvig.

Ibo's Styled Barbers on Dundee St see me right. 2 back and sides, trim on top, they trim your eyebrows, wax your nose and set your ears on fire for no extra cost.

TBH reminded me of 70’s dr who but not as white

I’m currently in the phase of having a skin fade with it messy on top.(ie short on top but you can gel it into so you don’t have to have have that no-hair look.

Works well the helmet in the hotter climes.

Go for the full Wolverine look. Massive unkept mane and HUGE sideburns.

That used to be my go to. Let it grow uncontrolled for 3 months, then a 5mm buzz cut.
Rinse and repeat...

Only stopped when the kids were little, because they thought it was hilarious to grab daddies sideburns and pull.

All other things aside TJ, all of these clever bastards throwing peanuts probably lost half of theirs a decade or two ago.

If there's one thing I'm good at it's growing hair. I'm somewhere between James Hetfield and Barry Gibb right now, but you're winning a War On Grey that I'm rapidly losing.

Not only have you got all that hair you don't even have the decency to have a good spread of grey tucked in it.  While my mid 40s head is more grey than 50 shades.

Its my revenge 'cos you slapheads stole my testosterone.   I also cannot grow a proper beard

Its actually much more grey than it looks in those pics and a lot thinner than it used to be.   Back in the 70s I had a full Crystal Tipps hairdo

Lockdown meant my hair didn’t get cut, which meant that a day outdoors wearing a hat to avoid 3rd degree burns meant my hair just got long and lank and sweaty.

Five minutes with my beard trimmer and the #1 comb and I was nice and comfortable. <br />All my friends said I should have given in to the inevitable and done it years before. It works, people who don’t know me assume I’m in my early fifties.

Seventy next year. 😎

The jury's out, but Man Bun is definitely the loser.

Full Dougal isn't wildly dissimilar to my own, though it's a little shorter currently because I'm halfway between annual haircuts.
