I put a chest of drawers on Gumtree at about 16.15 today. Sold, paid for & picked up 10 mins ago. (& no fees)
Thats better than most of my Fleabay attempts!

I've just furnished my house with Gumtree. Saved thousands, and all decent stuff. I'm about to stick a load of stuff on it tonight. Excellent local recycling.

I'll expand on my original post. I've bought:
Audi alloys for use with my winter tyres
Steel wheels for use with winter tyres
IKEA wardrobe
IKEA drawers
Thule roof bars for my octavia
Thule roof bars and foot pack for the yaris
Roofbox
Writing bureau
Freesat box and satellite dish - here's hoping it wound up like Rod Hull

Had the opposite. Listed baby stuff on there, which they inexplicably deemed to violate their listing policy. Eventually got a profuse apology and "won't happen again sir". Stuff listed and no response. Put same stuff in local paper yesterday, had 10 calls today already for 2 items. Surprised me how effective the back of the local rag still is in this day and age
