The cops don't seem to care about red light jumping if you're on a bike.

What about road tax?

I've not had to pay any yet.

I've also noticed that although you put on a helmet when getting on a motorbike cyclists have absolutely ho head protection. Have they not seen the statistics!

Any tips on how best to pull him off?

If you barge into him from behind, he'll probably go off immediately.

I must say I quite enjoy the suburban drug dealer feeling of cruising around in the Range Rover (the one that's halfway between an Evoque and a Sport). The Tesla's good too though.

Emsz, as I saw your name on this post, and I'm flicking haphazardly through threads, I at first thought this was the being drunk thread and was for a moment quite alarmed 🙂

This game misses a casino, would of been a great way to make cash or rob.

There is a casino it has opening soon banners outside, maybe features in later missions?

I have finally started the game, as in doing missions, and I might get it to train up Chop. It's .5gig, which is a hefty chunk of space on my 16g Fruit based phone.

Finally managed to get a couple of hours on the game. Spent some time just driving around the map looking at stuff (the porsches are great). There are some great little features in it. Found the cable car and the bike hire place too.

Done a few missions which have been a bit soso but its just the intro stuff so hoping it perks up a bit more.

Got bored with the missions so went for a "drive" which involved robbing a convenience store on the freeway, robbing an armoured truck, driving off a cliff, stealing a boat, seeing a shark and then crashing the boat in to the beach and stealing a motorbike from a race.

Finally got a chance to play this, done a few of the missions but mainly been cruising about in the Range Rover like a drug dealer. Pedestrians get in the way far too much which leads to the inevitable police chase of which I have a roughly 50% evasion rate.

In a side note, I've switched from the Xbox360 to the PS3 and good god it's like stepping back in time - the user interface is shonky as hell and the controller is rubbish. Just as well that has no real impact on the game.

Not the game, the actual user interface of the PS3 when compared to the 360. It was like going back in time in fact it's like a glorified BIOS menu..

You can either shoot the guard when he's carrying the money back to the van, shoot the locks off the rear doors when driving or hijack the van, but you still need to blow the doors off to get the money.

I think you're just used to something different. That menu lets you find loads of stuff really quickly, nothing wrong with it at all.

So much stuff to try when I get back from the Dales, need to give the armoured car thing ago. I seen someone robbing a woman for he purse, so I ran him over in my mini and helped her. She even gave me cash reward. I wanted to then run her over and take it too but felt sorry for her.

I spent about 6 hours last night messing around on it. I have only done a couple of missions The car showroom place (I cant remember the blokes name) has been shut after the first job. The tow truck only gave me one job and now isn't in the compound. And there was an attempted kidnaping.

Where do I go for more missions?

Among the silly things I have done are steeling a jet from the southern airport and accidentally crashing it into the military base while trying to do a top gun esque fly by. I accidentally jumped off the crane at the top of the skyscraper. I have been in hospital more times than I can think of but it doesn't seem to cost me anything possibly because I don't have much money.

Right you lot thats it. I'm off to buy this tomorrow. All these comments have got me really interested. Never playede GTA before. Only play cod. Usually buy a new game and play it for a day or two then back to cod after a bollocking from wife for wasting money on a game only to drift back to black ops after a few days.

As I don't own a games console I took to YouTube to find what all this fuss was about. There's a couple of comedy vids which made me chuckle, but really, wouldn't you be best off riding a bike out there*points* in the real world™?

The two aren't exclusive. Spend all day out on bike, come home play GTAV - what could possibly be better?

As much as I like riding bikes, the world is crammed full of amazing rich experiences (besides biking and gaming), I want to enjoy as many as I can. Riding all the time would be boring.

This is why I am not a pro cyclist 🙂

Sorry I'll stop the semi trolling comments now. I did enjoy the comedy vids (well more so the Cleveland "that's nasty" sound bites as the player chased some fat person on screen in a car)

My missus also likes video games. So I often do. Maybe I'm not much of a super stud but I can't shag every hour I'm not riding or working.

I have no idea how to make money off the stock market.. so I've just bought some shares that were cheap but rising to see what happens.

I wish I'd have thought of it when I found out we were going to whack Jay Norris. But then again, I knew they were going to fall so I'm not sure how I'd have made money on that.. although I guess now they are undervalued aren't they?

I bought just after Jay Norris was killed on the basis I'd get them cheap and be quids in when the dust settled. They've not gone back up yet.

Oh man, ended up with 2 strippers in private lounge. There is grabbing technique to be learned though.

Actually Trevor* is good looking after some dressing up.

Saw gunpoint robbery, drove them clowns down and profited 3k dahlas.

Other mexican b'tch tried to cry down for help ( foolish me to be good hearted )... her set up didn't work. Gringos didn't have balls to see trigger happy gangsta.

Helped drunk couple and drove them to Motel, dirty f"ckers did the deed in the car. Shameless bastards.

There's an advert on one of the radio stations for a spoof of Fifty Shades of Grey. Some of the lines in the ad aren't repeatable on here, but I was chuckling for ages after.

Similarly I turned on the TV in Trevor's place and watched an episode of Jack Howitzer is Jack Howitzer in Jack Howitzer!

Trevor mentioned about their manners, lady stopped riding him. It was comfortable ride.

Unfortunately there was no -key hole- option to play peeping tom on them, guess its all about $40. Can't get any more than that.

The range is bloody difficult though. Only managed bronze in most!

More reasons why this is the most awesome game ever - insider trading GTA style

I tried the whole beanmachine/coolbeans investment idea but couldn't find the trucks. Shot up some people drinking beanmachine and the price did go up.

BTW the range is great, tempted to go back just for some practise. Of course it helps your own skills as well as the characters.

I did it on the second attempt. Use his special skill for all the corners and then turn it off again for the straights. I was in a mini when everyone else was in dead fast, hetro-sexual cars.

the only reason I failed the first attempt is because I didn't anticipate how aggressive the other drivers would be.

I spent about ten mins climbing the bloody tower crane just so I could jump off it!! I was very impressed by the graphics when I looked over the edge and my stomach went a bit, I'm quite dodgy with heights and had to remind myself that it's only a bloody game 🙄
