Just seen some offers on Groupon for garden furniture. Seems good value. Has anyone ever bought any?

Looks cheap and unlikely to last. Okay it is cheap, so unlikely to last! 😀
My experience would tell me to look for better quality and try and get the best deal on it.
I signed up for Groupon (as I was looking for garden furniture too) and all I ever see are emails pedalling tat. I honestly don't believe any of their claimed offers.
looked into this couple of years ago, found the same furniture direct from the re-seller rather than through Groupon at a similar price, reviews where not good, long delivery periods, missing /damaged deliveries, poor customer service and the frames where steel so prone to rust, there is probably good reason why these shops use Groupon as a conduit to pedal their tat, makes it more difficult to find who you are actually dealing with (disclaimer - I have had some decent things through Groupon in the past, but usually service based rather than product, ie cheap deals on local restaurants)
I ended up spending a little more to get an aluminium framed set and 3 years later, despite being left out over 2 winters it is still as good as new
Looking at their holidays - they have some funny ideas about where North Yorkshire is.
( Clue, it isn't in a somewhat dodgy part of Middlesbrough )

Well actually...
(It is complicated - it sort of is North Yorkshire but isn't)...
Middlesbrough is a large town situated on the south bank of the River Tees in north-east England, that sits within the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire. The local council, a unitary authority, is Middlesbrough Borough Council. It is part of the larger built-up area of Teesside with an overall population of 376,333 according to the 2011 census.Middlesbrough was in North Riding of the county of York (1837–89), an administrative county was created with a county council in 1889 under the Local Government Act 1888, In 1968 it became the centre of the County Borough of Teesside, which was then absorbed by the non-metropolitan county of Cleveland in 1974. In 1996, Cleveland was abolished, and Middlesbrough became a unitary authority, within the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire.
We bought a similar set 3 years ago, steel framed. Apart from the umbrella which was garbage the rest has lasted well, been stored outside and fairly heavily used. No complaints, not sure it was a bargain but don't think we got fleeced either.
Thanks for the comments.I will keep looking, elsewhere.
