No wonder the south suffers with traffic problems when it snows, all bar 3 gritters are in Scotland 😁

That is exactly why I like to buy cars that come from down south.
What the gritters cost the government they get back in taxes on new cars in Scotland for sure.
Gritters guarantee 10-15 year life span on a normal car because it'll be rotten by then
lol @trail_rat. Last car managed 18 years and a bit more I think. Bodywork was in pretty good nick.
The previous Golf, though, was in getting sorted by the guy I sold it to -- mechanic asked him if it had been driven into the sea, the engine bay was just a block of rust. Not quite, but had survived many years in Aberdeen and the N~E.
I can't see a gritter thunberg is it real?

Belongs to South Lanarkshire Council

I think Sir Salter Scott and Andy Flurry are my favourites

I believe Doncaster has Gritsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Anti-Slip Machiney.
Manchester has one called that as well. I like "Basil Salty" too...

There are a few without names . Must be demoralising for the drivers. 😐
Plougher O’ Scotland and For Your Ice Only are my local two.
Kind of disappointed we don’t have Gritty Gritty Bang Bang.
One of these blooming things did a really scary close pass on me the other night! I complained to the local council, albeit through gritted teeth.
I drove past one in Aberdeen last week, The Grittalo. Made me smile
There must be a Gary Gritter?

This deserved more love I thought.

There must be a Gary Gritter?
I'm still trying to find Josef Gritzl and Peter Saltcliffe 😯
I hope it better NOT snow or get colder as I don't want to pay more for my energy bill ... I don't feel cold (well, I can manage) but the house feels cold and started to grow black mould ... aargghhh ...
Gritti Politti used to drink in my local pub
For shed7 fans only , Yorkshire could have a Rick Gritter
There must be a Gary Gritter?
It went in the wrong direction…
Hard Brexgrit?
I’m still trying to find Josef Gritzl and Peter Saltcliffe
Or Jimmy Snowvile?
There really needs to be a Sharon too.
There must be a True Grit somewhere.
Saw David Plowie go past our house last week. East Yorkshire.
