I'm guessing that's Scotland not California (it's the latter I'm waiting for).
Saw in an email that Rapha is the clothing sponsor for the event. They're definitely moving into gravel then...
Yep, Scotland, no mention of Quincy entry dates. Rapha and Canyon both involved for this year.
A few more details here - events in Japan and Canada this year too. Would love to get over for the Japanese edition in particular.
Cheers for the heads up, entry in for me and Mrs Kilo.
How much?
A snip at £150 per rider. Gourmet food though 😉
Too good for the poor.
Ffffffffff**** me!
I'd bloody hope the water bottle is filled with some Arran 10yo to make up that entry fee!
Anyone up for getting the ferry over and making a day of it lending "moral support"? Could be a good meet provided we make the ferry back (and if we don't it could be a great meet).

Watching gravel is about the only thing worse than gravel itself! 🤣🤣🤣
I assume you said more boring.
That just means we are duty bound to make it interesting.
Actually this is shaping up to be a bad idea 🤣
Unless you're associated with a rider. If so £40 please.
But I'm all for an stw special circumstances group. I reckon we'd get a "adventure show" mention.

Oooh, dibs on "A Shortfall of Gravitas"!
Can we call it the Interesting Times Gang?
Might organise a paupers Grinduro in the lakes @ the same time quite easy to sort out a ferry crossing 🙂 all you can eat monster munch and a fine local ale, cycle caps will be banned though! that will sort the roadies out
Always fun.
And though expensive it feels like money well spent
****er
?
That was a cracking weekend.
Now eyeing up The Dukes Weekender for later this year, as well as next years Grinduro should it return.
Dukes Weekender looks fun, may give that a bash.
The course was really good and quite tough and the event was well run. I thought the event "village" was a tad under-whelming and the availability of spares was pretty poor. Great if you want a haircut or artisan coffee, bit crap if you want to buy some CO2 canisters or an inner tube.
Arran was great and the weather was amazing.
Lovely to see so many people enjoying the island looking it's finest.
The timed sections weren't very techy but some of the riding between was more challenging, especially on a drop bar bike.
A day you could make as hard or as easy as you liked, in a great location, with like minded folk from different bits of the world...and Arran gin and ice cream on the beach after the ride, made for a very pleasant but tough day out on the bike.
