Loads, really, Mrs Toast's list, plus Akira pretty much do it for me, plus this one:

Diva. I love this film to bits.

Has to be Top Gun. Or Blade Runner. (I nearly said Alien but that apparently came out in 79.)

Not that I'm old enough to remember any of these coming out...

EDIT: +1 to the guy who mentioned Akira. Fantastic film.

Top Gun
Lost Boys
Lethal Weapon
Highlander
Mad Max
Pink Floyd: The Wall
Full Metal Jacket (I seem to real it being good, anyway. It's a long time since I last saw it)

One of the above. Except for all the ones I probably forgot.

Couple of cheesy comedy ones -

Fletch
"Why don't we go lay on the bed and I'll fill you in?"

Indiana Jones is one of the best films ever imo. could watch it on repeat.

Top Gun on the other hand is just dreadful from start to finish. For me its like olives. I hate em but over time people bang on about how great they are so I'm tempted to try one again to see if I've acquired a taste for them. So i try one and they're just as hideous as i remember.

Coming to America without a doubt, still endearing, still funny today. Next door neighbours son is called Akeem. Everytime I hear his name being called I laugh.

Come and See- thanks for that. I'll look that up.
