Im in the middle of collecting a few vinyls to go in some vinyl specific picture frames I got as a present, which can be hung on the wall. So far I've got:

[img] [/img]
Cliched and not my favourite album, but one of the few vinyls I actually already own, it was my dads and I got it when he passed away, so will go on the wall for sentiment

[img] [/img]
Good album, love the artwork

[img] [/img]
Am probably going to get this for the third one, one of my favourite bands, and have always liked battersea power station as a building.

Need a 4th album, but can't decide what yet. Maybe Nirvana, Foo's, or something obsure like The Sounds.

Let's see yours

EDIT: BUGGER I F****ED THE LINKS UP! ARSE! 🙂

Not their best album by a long way, but it's the one that made me stop in my tracks at the record shop. I bought it - having never heard them before - because the cover looked so good.

[img] [/img]

This started a bit of an ongoing obsession 😳

This is one of 2 albums I've bought specifically for the cover:

[img] [/img]

The other - 10,000 Days by Tool - isn't too impressive in picture format.

Not their best album by a long way,

it is for me. No Rest For The Wicked a close second though, with Today Is A Good Day coming in for the bronze.

Although Joolz' artwork for the latter is pretty good:

No Rest 1st - by a mile. Love it...

Then Impurity, to me (and only me I think) it sounds like a more grown up T&C

Eight, TIAGD & (controversially) LOHC all get played more than T&C.

I am with Joolz again in Nov for a 40th birthday present tattoo. Gonna dust off some Red Sky later I think!

Taz - if you like Tool....have you heard the Cypress Hill/Tool mashup (by the same people that did Wu Tang Clan/Fugazi). It;s good, but as I don't really know anything about Tool, I'm not sure if I know who did what bit!

LOHC is for me a half & half record. half of it is great, the other half a bit meh. White Light, HCTW, Fate, Living in the Rose, ace, the rest not so

Know what you mean about Impurity though. Funny thing, when I'm out on my bike (not often I know!) the same lyric over anything else keeps popping into my head "fear is the only enemy that I still know"

These are all pretty iconic album covers IMO, though may not work for your intended purpose

Though I would be more inclined to Google

Lots of really iconic album art being posted, any of which would look good framed, but there's still some missing:

Yeah, the King Crimson one is a work of art. Got it on vinyl so has to be at least 30 years old?
