In my head, I should be able to
1. Bury/hide some boxes in the woods with clues or prizes in each one.
2. Take a GPS reading for each location
3. Mark those locations somewhere
4. Give them a decent smartphone and set them off on the treasure hunt.
Sort of like a mini Geocaching session
Now, what app technology do I need to actually do this? And has anyone done anything similar. Much appreciated
