Me and my partner spent quite a few weeks there some time ago. We escaped to Gozo because Malta was pretty tacky, and much preferred it. Its sligtly strange and somewhat quaint with some really interesting ancient sites to visit. We took bike and rode most of the little island, try to avoid the biggest builders dump on a remote section of coast though. It seemed to specialise in abandoned old houses, while they were frantically building new, slightly ugly ones. The sea is SO blue!!!!!!!

Its super quiet, with loads of quiet wee back roads. We bought fresh strawberries and other produce from market gardeners. Check out the Azure window, salt pans and ancient sites. I wish I had taken my bike.

I have memories of it being fantastic although I just asked my DAd when we went and it was 1989!!! Lovely blue sea, nice quiet island but with huge citadel, lovely beaches. Diving there? worth a trip I say.

Honeymooned there.

It's pretty and quiet; we loved it but if you're into lively nights out you might be disappointed.

Was in Malta last September. Malta is ok, a bit tacky, Gozo is beautiful. Small & quaint, try to get a couple of days there.
