Brilliant 😁
That’s a gem.
Hell of a salesman, it has a bunch of bids too!
Do you think it's one of those urban myth situations where they bought it jointly and he's agreed to sell it and give her half the money.
It's actually quite like my Leyland Daf camper in design.
Mine also needed a similar amount of work - I recognise many of the things he's bought for it. I also had to rebuild a lot of the wooden shell due to rot.
Given the lunacy of the current motorhome market, I reckon he'll make money on that vs what he paid for it, even if it does look like a total shed.
Listing is local to us, if only we didn't have one already. 🤔
At least he is selling for a realistic price, unlike the rusty, leaky, ancient imported Bongo my inlaws [s]were robbed for[/s] paid over the odds for.
It doesn't run anymore, I stole the coil and leads to fix something else that I actually cared about, replace these and a see no reason why it won't fire straight back up.
It's a 40 year-pld Bedford. I doubt it fired straight up when it was new. Chances of it doing it now are slim.
For some reason I feel strangely attracted by a 'perfect tranquil cabin on wheels'. Somebody please disable my ebay account...
That's cheered up my afternoon no end 😂👍
🤣
Barnsley. I could nip and get it right now…
Please shoot me if I do.
You won't need shooting, something critical will probably fail on the way home and kill you.
@molgrips - and there was me thinking you'd trade the Merc in for this. Sounds like less trouble 😀
"Happy bidding and good luck (God knows you're gonna need it)" 😆
I get the feeling that writing that ebay listing might have cheered him up no end
I've got a converted 4x4 bedford ambulance (dual axle!) to sell at some point soon, I'd kill to be able to put as many good points in the advert as that has.
