Hi all,
got a weekend up in hull visiting relatives - any suggestions for things to do whilst I am up there?
I will be going armed with hiking and birding kit...

Bempton (sp?) cliffs for seabirds, near Bridlington IIRC, not that far from Hull.
The Deep in Hull itself.
Elvington Air Museum (ok, it's near York, but again, not that far away).

I went to Hull once.
It was shut.
Or you could take some fishing gear & catch supermarket trolleys/scrap metal in general outside Makro.
Humber Bridge was for a while the longest single-span suspension bridge in the world. The tops of the towers are noticeably further apart than the bases, due to the curvature of the earth.
