Baws, would be right in but I just bought a Macan instead!

Wasn't that on an early grand designs episode?

Massive fireplaces and modern top floor - pretty sure you're right

That house is Limoux was in my fantasy lottery win list a few months back. I'd still have a house in the grim north too though but further north.

wasnt it on Grand Designs?
Says so in the linked description, so yes...
It was featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs show in 2007 and 2009 and remains one of Kevin McClouds favourite projects.

So for that cash I could have a great house where I am and something a bit exclusive on the Sydney foreshore or a nice city place in Melbourne... I'll keep my cash

Cheaper, whackier and better for the shops.

That would buy you a nice 2 or 3 bedroom in Verbier village. Riding and skiing better, no need for so much furniture

As well as being a much cherished family home, it is also run as a highly successful bed & breakfast business, providing five luxury boutique bedrooms as well as a self contained contemporary attic apartment which occupies the entire third floor. The apartment has a south facing roof terrace from where stunning parkland views are enjoyed towards Pendle Hill. The business has grown successfully over the years and has received some outstanding reviews. For more information please refer to – www.peelcastle.co.uk.

Didn't the castle sort of half collapse/fall down in the middle of the renovations?
Some muppet didn't stabilise the old rubble walls before digging the debris away from the footings IIRC...

Like the rectangle or square shape of the castle but windows too small and I bet it is also haunted. 😛

I like rectangle or square building ...

I remember that episode (remember the Peel hose one too) the bloke doing it was I recall a bit of a tit (as they often are)

It's not aged particularly well has it, inside or out, didn't like the roof (from inside) when it was on TV like it even less now the rest of the house isn't so 'dressed' for the cameras

The Peel House I remember wanting to stay in (until I saw the prices)

That's the trouble with the Larch cladding that Kevin gets so moist over. It doesn't need painting; it just looks like a very old shed for ever.
