Managed to fall off and hole my Gore Active Shell jacket on the elbow this morning.

Any recommendations for a place to repair it? Alternatively, any decent DIY repair products?

Thanks

There's a place in Burnley that did a repair for me .They were excellent, but I can't remember their name, sorry.

I bought a kit from Go Outdoors, about £7.00 - seems to do the job.

Aye, I've used them before (they're 10 minutes from where I work). Repaired a tent pole in about 10 minutes. Can't fault 'em.

I sent a GTX Paclite jacket to LSR and their repair was terrible. This was for a '3/4 seam retape' on a jacket. Firstly they covered the original seam tape with one about 4x wider which reduced the actual area of breathable GTX massively, then the new tape just pealed off after a week, along with the original tape (which was coming off already hence the retape).

Bunch of complete amateurs.

Next time I'll just repair it myself with seam sealant.

Gorilla tape in a small rounded patch on the inside of mine at the shoulder and it's been fine through several washes
