You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I’ve been lent a Hero 9 this weekend so I’ve got a few clips from the last two rides and there’ll be a few more tomorrow.
What’s the best/easiest software to mash them all up into a single video?
I use VN on the phone to edit.
Having tried a lot, NCH VideoPad is great because it'll run on a toaster.
Which given the prices of computer hardware at the moment is important! It'll run on my creaking old laptop with its 2009 2C/4T i3 processor and mere 4GB of DDR3.
Ah, that’s a good point. My ancient PC wouldn’t even play the clips without stuttering last night.
What resolution are you recording in? I'd knock it back to 1080 or 720, the reality is 99.9% of people who see it will be on their laptop or phone and won't notice the difference to 4k.
Especially for youtube/forums where it won't even be full screen so anything over about 300 lines is wasted!
Go Pro’s Quik app now has some basic editing facilities again - it’s recently been updated and re-released so might be worth a look.
It’s set at 4K 30fps at the moment. I’ll tone it down for the next session, it’s not like I’m doing sick edits or anything.
I’ve got the Quik app but it looks like you need to download the videos to use the editor and I’ve only got a 32Gb phone that’s got less than 8Gb free space so I can get a couple of videos on it at a time.
I use premiere rush on the iPad to edit footage.
