Got a new phone and when I went to Google play it asked for my CV number. Is this normal for using an account on a new device? I assume so, but my paranoia is getting the better of me :-s

When I swapped Android to Android earlier this year I used the beam thing and the whole lot went over. Scary but handy. Does that help.

Should be an option to use it without credit card. Fairly sure I was using Play without them having my credit card when I was using Android. I just couldn't buy anything.
