How odd considering all the gates.

Where are they all?

If you look at Heathrow, Bristol etc. there's lots of planes visible.

where de planes?

Yeah, that's weird, especially as the car parks are rammed full. Fairly recent too, as there's all that new T2 building work going on.

But some weird looking half planes where there must have been some cloud cover so they’ve done some image blending.

Google Earth / Maps can show different images and if you turn on/off terrain in GE it can change the image again...

If your using the google earth app, it does a 3D rendering thingy, where there are no planes but when you turn that off you get planes galore.
