I made a new calendar and shared it with MrsJ as recommended by many on this forum, but I can't for the life of me work out how to add an event to that specific calendar using the iPhone app. What have I missed? Thanks for saving my sanity!

if it's anything like the android app (shot in the dark I know), then when you create the new event, tap on the calendar email address it has given the event and it should open up a dialogue box to select an alternative calendar that you've shared with the user.

If this is from the Sharee rather than the Sharer, make sure you've given her access to collaborate rather than read-only.

You mean on the built-in Calendar app on the iPhone?
It should list "Calendar" as one of the options under the event details.

Sorry for the confusion - I meant the iPhone Google calendar app. Stoner solved the problem. Weird thing is that as far as I can see you have to select the calendar the moment you create the event. You can't edit it later.

^^
It's like that on android too.
Frustrating.
But not as frustrating as starvation or losing a leg I suppose...

On Android there is red plus button bottom right to create a new event. For its size its surprisingly discreet!

Works okay on mine. Just select the event in the Calendar and you get the event details along with the option to change the Calendar it appears in.
