Cheers - I managed to get access into the Driver's enclosure so got some great shots at the top of the Hill climb..

No photos of Danny MacAskill in the arena? Now that was awesome! I have to admit that it's too big an event to see everything.

To be honest, I'm not a car nut and didn't know who anyone was. I got a free ticket ,as the GF had to work there, and just took a load of photos - she got me into various VIP areas, so I made the most of that.

But yes, it's so huge you couldn't catch everything.

Apparently youre no bike nut either 😛

I videoed his ride which was very impressive. He was a really nice bloke - some kid wanted his photo taken sat on his bike and he let the kid ride it round and stuff. I had a quick chat with him too - very down to earth.

First time I've been and went with JPCapel and our two youngest (4yrs old). Sensational event, even for 4 year olds. Second the comments re: Danny - top bloke, but for sheer quality of riding, he was outdone by the freestyle MX'ers - the whips they were pulling were just unreal!!!! And my boy low-5'ing them as they came back round to line up again was pretty cool too! Think I might make it an annual pilgrimage!!

Likewise - first time I'd been but will definitely go back next year - great event.

The Revival meeting in September is going to also! First time I went to FoS was in 94 and tickets were £9.00 .......

It's not cheap, which is the main reason why I haven't been since 2003. I went snap happy taking pictures of the three Ford GT40s on the main display, completely unaware that one Johnny Herbert had sauntered into shot. Unfortunately, they old skool non digital photos otherwise I'd put them up here.

2005 (I think) I bought a season ticket, £98.00 for all six days, that was brilliant value compared to £42.00 for the Sundays!
