Sadly lacking in Windermere, couldn't recommend a single one. You're best heading for Bowness, with my personal favourite being the 'Hole Int' Wall'.

Hole int' Wall is a belting little pub, do they still do the roast chestnuts in winter, cook em yourself on the open fire?

The Broadside is a nice drinking pub but foodwise it's a bit limited. Personally I'd get a taxi 5 minutes to ings and go to the watermill at Ings.
