Recommendations for good cafes, tea rooms, restaurants or chippys, between Llanrwst and Llandudno would be welcome. Including Conwy. Thank You

Cottage Loaf Llandudno - best booking though as it get's busy, or the pub on the hill by the Orme tramway - The Kings Head - they do good food, as is the chippy "Fish Tram Chips".

Conwy has two decent chippy's right opposite each other. Llandudno/Conwy all have loads of tea rooms, so spoilt for choice.

Rhos-On-Sea is nice place to stop. Hickories (chain)just outside the town, then a few tea rooms in the centre near the harbour.

Riiiiight.

Abbasi, the Indian place in Betws Y Coed is very, very good indeed.
Most surprising.
Everything freshly cooked, service can be a bit slow if very busy.
A genuine pleasant surprise.

Siabod Cafe just before Capel Curig on the A5 for superb breakfasts and amazing home made cakes. A Trail magazine award winner and rightly so.

Caban at Brynrefail (western end of the Lake at Llanberis) is very good indeed. Excellent veggie options, great coffee, never disappoints.

Gallt y Glyn in Llanberis is very decent for pizza, bit scruffy but nice food.
Hanging Pizza in Betwys is very good too.

Lodge Dinorwic (Dinorwic, near the slate quarry) is again spot on for cake, coffee and the nicest locally made burgers I've ever eaten.

If you get as far as Amlwch, the Quays cafe is rather good.

If going anywhere near Prestatyn, we're spoilt for restaurants and tea rooms (we have a static nearby). Patagonia is outstanding (Welsh food with a twist), and two/three good curry houses. Two Italians, Chyna Garden chinese/thai, numerous pub grub places. Nant hall good for food as is The Beaches Hotel.

Gallt y Glyn Llanberis is proper whacky - like being in someone's lounge, but the pizza's are great and pint's cheap.

Just up from the Llandudno tram station on opposite side of road is a chippy (Fish Tram Chips?) that was amazing two years ago.

My parents (both fish & chips mad) live there and always drive out to one in Conwy as they say they’re the best fish and chips in the area. ‘Fisherman’s’ is their favourite. I’ve had one good one and one not good one from there, but apparently the not so good one was when the owners were away.

Frydays in Penryhn Bay is good. Had some fish and chips from there on Saturday. FIL is a regular.

Big queues in the evenings - but you can phone your order in ahead and collect from hatch window at a given time slot, which is what we did.

Enochs (fish and chips) at Llandudno Junction. Eat in or takeaway. Quality.

Woosey’s Catch south Conwy also supposed to be good but I’ve never been.

One thing I complained about, after our N Wales trip last summer, was the comparative lack of good food, even in supermarkets. But, I said, everywhere had a good chippy. It seems I was right. 😀

Another shout for Hangin' Pizza in Betws.

The Mermaid in Barmouth is an amazing chippy.

You didn't include the word "affordable" in your request...

If you go for fish & chips in Conwy you could be unlucky enough to bump into that arrogant little man from Salvage Hunters (we did last time) Drew Prick-chard. What an awful prick.

For next time, Olif in Betws is very good

The chip shop in Deganwy, overlooking the estuary, is excellent. We rented the cottage next door for Christmas a few years ago and celebrated Chrimbo Eve with Fish & Chips whilst watching the fireworks going off on Conwy Castle from the front room.

The Seahorse in Llandudno is a quite quirky restaurant but when I've eaten there the food has always been excellent.

If you fancy a short trip out the Groes Inn in Tyn-y-Groes is a nice pub that does very good food too. They're dog friendly with the entrance hall set up specifically for them.

Bryn Williams at Port Eiras ( sea front just outside Colwyn Bay) is worth checking out and there is a bike shop next door

There is a good bakery in Colwyn Bay town, always went in there when at a depot up the road, then eat down by the sea. Best chippy by far, is in Gronant, but that's way off your tracks.

Coast Cafe in Rhos is good, next to Cayley Flyer pub.

Also not mentioned the cafe in Llanwrst just over the bridge by the bottom of the Gwydyr MTB trails - Tu Hwnt l'r Bont

The Eagles Hotel looks a nice place to eat too - Llanwrst and also Fairy Falls Hotel

@lunge I think I suggested that on a previous thread - seem to recall it might have been @Binners' last year.

I like my food, fancy food at that and I'm not averse to spending on it but even I struggle to get past the prices for what sounds like like a very fancy mixed grill. That said the prices offend me less than it being an "experience".

Cottage Loaf in Llandudno is way over rated.
Average over priced food and always too busy.
Went there a few weeks ago and left disappointed. Had their steak pie which was barely reheated accompanied by some trying be fancy veg that was meh with a weird flavour to it. Defo not what its hyped up to be.

The Italian La Taverna is probably the best Llandudno can offer but the place is small and you need to book.

White Tower in Llandudno is also outstanding. Kebab lovers and big eaters you need to get yourself there.

Well that was interesting.
It rained so much last night, that the river Conwy started to flood in Llanrwst.
They closed the tea room (over the bridge) and started to take the furniture upstairs. The bowling green was totally underwater when I walked back over the bridge.

The fisherman's fish and chip shop in Conwy was excellent, thanks for the recommendation.
