A higher resolution module that take C or CS mount lenses

The possibility of making a back for old 35mm gear is getting closer.
I'd love to be able to make a digital back for my Fuji medium format.
@epicyclo
Very interesting! I clicked on the link and it said 1 left... thought about it for a minute then someone bought it 😂 Clearly in high demand despite the price (£50 + lens at £25+ required!)
I use the original Pi Cam on a Pi that controls/monitors one of my 3d printers. Funnily enough I just installed yesterday an app that uses machine learning to detect when a print has gone awry so it can notify you... it works really well but I was wondering if it would be even better with a decent camera.
Oddly this "new" camera has "2018" etched on the side 😃
As to your point about the digital back, I'm sure it's possible! A post popped up on my FB this morning where someone had 3d printed a connector so that they could use their Canon lenses on a GoPro which apparently works well!
Found this "Paparazzi Pi" image on a press release 😂

I want one but don't know why really. If there's an adapter from C mount to Nikon F I can use my Nikon lenses. No idea what for.
Though more MPs than my old SLR (D70).
This has no shutter though? Electronic shutter I guess and viewfinder via an app or attached display.
Looks good for astrophotography, i.e. no filters?

Could be good for a wildlife camera, set it up for motion detection.
Though seems it does have an IR filter. Would need to remove that for night vision. Instructions here for removing the filter, though risk of breaking it. https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/camera/hqcam_filter_removal.md
