Might be taking the plunge this summer as we are racing towards retirement. So where would you recommend? Plenty of choice and fair prices etc.

This place has a good rep in our area. And they certainly have loads of stuff to look at.

Caravan Dealer in the Midlands with Massive Selection (salopleisure.co.uk)

These are close too Home - bodans

Oh and then the NEC has this very shortly Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show | the NEC, Birmingham

Christ dont know why I know this stuff.,..

£0.02 If you already know exactly what you're after then crack on. If this is your first purchase then the motorhome show at the NEC will help unravel the bewildering choice of what sort of size & layout suits you best as everything is available under one roof.

Good luck. I couldn't do without mine.

Todds Motorhomes near Preston had the best quality / prepared vehicles around when we were looking in the North West (was about 5 years ago though). Indoor showroom is great when the weather is grim. They were good about trying  to resolve a couple of issues with our used purchase (less so after the first year when the included 3rd party warranty excluded many things... electrical switches in our case). They did offer much more money than any other dealer I found when wanting to sell it on again but I got a little more selling privately in the end.

Not local, but if you're on a trip down south then there's a good one by Tiso's on the roundabout on the A9 Perth bypass. Could stop off on your way somewhere.

Get down the motorhome show at the NEC as above. Its on at the end of this month.

Cant beat getting into the vans to get a proper feel for them before you consider purchasing.

Got ours from Marquis at Preston as they are a Benimar dealer. They used to have a lot in stock but the boom after covid cleaned out a lot of their stock.

When I was looking, I was told by everyone to avoid Marquis at all costs!
