does it have to be keswick?

Low Wood hotel at ambleside has mangaged to put on good service for the 4-5 conferences / events that i've been to.
Could easily get to grizedale from there or plenty of natural riding aound ambleside, or its only 40 mins ish up to whinlatter / borrowdale

That is another option, most will be coming from the North or Ireland so Keswick was nearest choice.

Cheers

We enjoyed a family bash at the Keswick Hotel (it used to be the station hotel).
Food fine, rooms fine, not too pricy

Lodore on the side of the lake is good. Pricey, but very, very nice. Right at the start of the road to Watendlath if you're doing the bash.

I would go with the Keswick Hotel or the Skiddaw Hotel. The Lodor is nice but pricy and if you stay there then you`ll miss the proper start to the Bash... Walla Crag!!!

I live in Keswick BTW 😛
