Red Rooster's good. Cranstons or Booths too, both just along the same road into town. Cranston's is an excellent butchers too.....

The big place next to Red Rooster serves excellent food, but just doesn't open early enough...

the big breakfast in red rooster will keep you going for a week. booths is good. cranstons is very hit and miss.

Sadly, not in Penrith, as I found out during a detour there a few years ago. The Penrith scenes are in Stony Stratford, near Milton Keynes.
