Looking at MWIS and I see proper winds - will they open the lifts d'y think?

Also, any insight on time to drive from Glasgow and possibility of them running out of hire kit at the centre?

I'm a bit of a newbie to skiing in Scotland. Cheers 🙂

Will the thaw not affect things?

I'm sure the Glenshee experts will be along in a minute but keep an eye on the Winterhighland website for condition updates

1.75hrs - depends on roads / traffic /driving

You can hire gear at Bridge of Cally

Hoping the thaw will improve the roads! It's 7degC in Glasgow now and snow/ice/slush has all but gone from the city centre. I'm hoping it'll be a good 5deg colder up in the hills though.

It could be very busy as the full area is not open yet but hopefully the thaw will put some people off. Glenshee is not normaly affected too much by winds, as heatherbash says check the Winterhighland site for the latest info.
