Bruce appearing on stage with The Gaslight Anthem for 59 Sound was the highlight for me.

Blur were awesome too.

I saw Lady Gaga at 1am ish. Looking rather fit, I'd certainly poker face.
I'm on all the bruce coverage, and on the national news as I was front row (for 10 and a half hours!)

Dizzee going Bonkers x2
Nick Cave doing Red Right Hand - truly chilling!
Rolf Harris doing Tie Me Kangaroo Down - ledge!
And so many more..

Having been 11 times in the last 17 years, I was pretty sad to have missed this one - it looked like a classic (Glasto being a bit like Rock Shox - some years are better than others...).

Was never a massive Blur fan, but they were simply fantastic (from the vantage point of my living room). The audience singing their hearts out to The Universal was a Pyramid Stage moment par excellence.

Wish I'd caught Q-Tip and Bon Iver, among many others. Plus all the usual madness. 😀

I reckon the whole sets of Blur, The Streets and White Lies were pretty special. Phenominal weekend and my best one yet. Gutted I missed Lady Gaga in Shangri La late on - some place that!

blur's whole set particulalrly when everyone kept singing tender after damon had stopped.

ray davies' four encores, fav. song lola

newton faulkner treats his guitar like a percussion instrument, not a stringed one, amazing!

Outlaw pete was amazing

Lady gaga's main set was brill, did you know the shangrila thing was going on or just happen to be there? TBH I was so knackered each day from trudging around I went straight to bed after the final act had finished.

What time did y'all get home?

We packed up on sunday morning and rand the mile or so to the car straight after blur and were on the open road in about fifteen minutes (from engine switch on, not including running time).

I got chatting with this girl in the snake pit pole dancing bar in Shangri la, she told me of the Lady Gaga secret gig. so went straight to the front, about five foot from the stage.

One song in she complained of not being able to do costume changes, the said "im doing one anyway" in just dropped the lot. down to underwear and heals. You could even see the camel toe. Like a beetle car bonet !

OMG! Cool, you'd reccomend the snake pit pole dancing bar after dark then? Seriously though, anyone else got reccomendations for post band activites? The last two times I've been have been wet years so I've been knackered from wading between stages but this year we had the energy but not the direction....

oh yes CSFL i would recomend the Shangri la area, last year i watched topless girl wrestling. No real aim except there was just two tidy girls on stage pulling the tops of then with their "bags of fun" fully exposed they got down to some squared circle, grappling action. Whats not to like !

Then there is the Diner bar, which plays mowtown music till six am. packed wi folk drinking Cocktails.

Then if you manage to blag a performers after party which i did, it all goes off. whic involved a girl exposing and a certain white sherbert licked/sniffed off her. email me for full story.

on the whole, you have to dig around for the real fun
