Along the river would seem to be the obvious place. Will I be murdered?
Well if you want to get really fit laps of Ibrox in a Celtic top should do it 😀
Away?

Beaten by CF!
Kelvingrove Park/Kelvin walkway, or my personal favourite Pollok Park.
This might work..?
Perfect, and that goes almost right past my shop too so you can come play on the toys.
I saw a recumbent locked up on the way into town this morning. Was that you? 🙂
Nope, there are a reasonable number about. Well, several. More than one, anyway.
Kelvingrove park or along the river.
I'd start by going out your door and run somewhere that ties in with that! As far from the busiest roads as possible. Glasgows quite big.

Why would anyone need to lock a recumbent? 🙂
Good point. They're usually pretty laid back folk.
The Southside Six looks like an interesting route. The race is already full for this year, but you could have a go running it on your own. http://www.southsidesix.org.uk/the-race/the-route/
Strava run heatmap might be a good resource for the OP.
My favourite area for running when I lived in Glasgow was a lap around the Kelvin Walkway, Botanic Gardens and Kelvingrove Park. Nice paths, great views and plenty of interesting architecture.
If you're in the city centre, it would be a big-ish 10km loop to take those in. There's a running shop (Alchiles Heel) on Great Western road that used to do drop in running meetup things a few nights a week and they run around that area.
From the city centre, Glasgow Green is worth a run around. The walkway along the Clyde is popular with runners also. An out and back to the Transport Museum is a good run. It's plenty safe, there are some big offices around there now so always folk about.
The hills of strathclyde sprint session.
Sighthill, Possil or Castlemilk. All very quaint indeed.
Molgrips' run / cycle round Glasgow didn't go quite as planned....

Traffic Scotland tweeted a warning to motorists to slow down. Perhaps tweeting a warning that motorists shouldn't be looking at Twitter when driving would me more sensible.
Lol 🙂
Well that was quite nice actually, despite the darkness. The Kelvin walkway was lovely, even if I did have to clamber out of the gorge at one point whilst trying to follow the map on the GPS. Some really beautiful streets, extremely posh looking.
However I opted against heading back via the canal, looked pretty dodgy and passed rows of very dead looking boarded up shops..

Maryhill, or Possil 😯
So, you know where to run - next you have to figure out where to hide. 🙂
