Mora is a great modern Italian but I dunno how good for gluten free. Alchemilla might be a better shout for that I'd imagine.

Edit: looks like Alchemilla isn't open at the moment.

There's also 6 by Nico there now, I've only been in its old venue but it was v good high end food at not crazy prices.

Ben Nevis for drinks. I've not been living in Glasgow since halfway through lockdown etc though so things may have changed.

How I wish I'd bought that scummy flat in Corunna St when I first started working at Thus all those years ago.

What it would be worth now? But I'm not the grasping type.

Anyway, for curry I'd head to the Banana Leaf.

Banana Leaf is tasty and good value but it's not the cleanest looking place inside.

It's Partick, not Finnieston, but Suissi is absolutely incredible. Do not let the fact that it's vegan prejudice you one iota.

I'm not clued up regarding GF options, but...

As has been mentioned already, Crabshakk and Mother India are both very good.

I would probably disagree with recommending The Finnieston though - we went there a few weeks ago and felt for the price it was just 'okay'

We have enjoyed Elena's for Spanish - I would describe it as authentic & homemade, rather than high end fine dining.

Pickled Ginger is supposed to be good for Asian/Sushi according to my girlfriend.

Ichiban in Partick is worth the short walk as well, good Japanese restaurant.

Finnieston is a hip foodie hub of gourmet sandwich shops, artisanal coffee bars and trendy organic restaurants specializing in Scottish meat and seafood. Craft beers and gins are served up at stylish bars, while old-school pubs offer vast whisky selections and traditional folk music sessions.
