Binners and Ton won last round with the Full English Breakfast Pie.

A few suggestions were made of other types, but I'm in 'the pie mood' again!
I'll come up with:
Roast dinner pie
Barbecue mixed grill Pie

Any other gooduns?

DrP

NOTE - it has to be kind of acheivable and edible!

Used to like using tins of sausage and beans, with some cheese chucked in too.

Bit messy though like.

What about baked apple and custard pies?

I think the sausage theme could be taken further with a selection. Sweet chilli, venison, Aberdeen Angus etc. your pie potion would be like Russian roulette

Or exploring another of today's themes: the fish finger pie?

Curry pie.

Pops, pickles, naan, curry of choice and rice all in a pie.

Serve with lager and one of those warm towel things.

Sweet pie for me.
Gooseberry and raspberry, with a nob of clotted cream popped in just before the pastry lid goes on.

The Mrs makes pork pies with quails egg and black pudding, they're awesome but I think the next step is adding a large pork scratching for a crunchy surprise!

All things considered I'm surprised a fish-finger pie hasn't been suggested...

Magpie

Anyone been to the pie shop at Acharacle on Ardnamurchan? Not to sure if it was the overall pie quality, that the pies were fresh out of the oven or even that we were in the most beautiful of places but I ate two of the worlds most fantastic pies. Was towards the end of 6 days of hard rides so most food seemed ace.

Cream?

Yes indeedy. The idea came from a pastie maker in Cornwall. She puts a dollop of clotted cream into the pasty mix before sealing the pastry and baking - yummy.
