…noticed over the last few days the story (tragedy) has disappeared from news websites.
I’m guessing there is some sort of tactics going on here ?
All joe public know is that there is still a killer on the loose. I imagine the guy is long gone or has been murdered himself either that or someone is covering for him.
As in old stories removed?
Or just no updates being reported?
Still on the main BBC page, 5th story down.

2 guys were arrested last I heard
Isn't the main suspect caught and back in prison?
There is plenty of news coverage of today's inquest into the death of Olivia Pratt-Korbel.
Plenty on the north west news tonight
Isn’t the main suspect caught and back in prison
Nope. That was the intended victim, who… surprise surprise… was a bit of a wrong ‘un.
Whoever did it is either:
A) out of the country within 2 hours of it happening and now in South America
Or
B) at the bottom of the Mersey
Or..
C) still riding around on 50cc scooter
I’ve read about it every day including today in main stream media
Interested to know what sort of “tactics” you think are at play
story still a far way up various running orders with early details of an enquiry being released.
However there comes a point where there is nothing left to say and no new developments. There is also now a developing story in ****stan with those horrendous floods and the humanitarian crisis that will bring. There’s more to say about that situation so more will be said.
I can be pretty confident that when there’s more to report on the appalling murder of an innocent 9 year old girl it’ll be reported.
There's an ongoing Police investigation. Two suspects arrested and bailed.
I'm assuming/hoping that the Police are sifting through information to try and join the dots to charge or arrest someone else, so there is no "news" to report

I dont know where youre looking, but im getting pages of results from news outlets from the few days.
I read the story about the crackdown on organised crime in Liverpool, and another couple about it yesterday, reality is that the police are doing their job in trying to find any suspects, and the press are thankfully not doing their usual stuff trying to turn it into something more than it is and getting in the way of the investigation.
Yeah they raided loads of suspected crims this week, it might not have made the national news but was prominent up here.
They can't keep reporting on stories if they're not developing each day though. It's called news, not olds.
There was an article about it on my BBC page yesterday.
My take is Police know who pulled the trigger but not got enough evidence. Mass arrests of 30+ people to try and get someone to give evidence. Unfortunately even in this horrendous case I think they will hit a wall of silence.

I bet most of the people on the street in Liverpool could probably tell you who pulled the trigger, or at least who was behind it, but getting anyone to give evidence is another matter entirely. And there's a very good reason for that.
When people talk about 'organised crime' in Liverpool, they're talking about the fact that most of the cocaine in the UK comes in through the city. If you watch 'Liverpool Narcos' on Sky Documentaries or listen to 'Gangster - the rise of Curtis Warren' on BBC Sounds it tells of how they famously cut out the middle men to deal directly with the cartels in South America to bring in huge shipments then distribute it throughout the country.
Would you be keen to give a statement to the police?
I very much doubt whoever did it is still in the UK anyway.
It was on BBC news tonight.
Was on the radio this am, yesterday am, day before in fact everyday since it happened.
BBC: Olivia Pratt-Korbel: Police release footage of fleeing gunman.

Some pretty powerful comments made by the police concerning whoever is shielding the murderer.
