Has anyone been bored enough to check the USA version?
Tried to start watching it.
Lasted maybe 3 minutes.
Possibly it needs longer.
I would rather wash my eyes with vinegar then watch the american version, just the trailers were bad enough.
I actually thought the American one was quite sympathetically done. given they shared the same creative teams and even some great cameos from the UK cast/creators
They updated it to reflect some of the cultural nuances of America quite smartly i thought.
Clearly using common story lines, and the episodes a bit too short to fit with differing scheduling but worth a watch IMO.
The wife less convinced as took it as a direct copy.

I lasted about half an episode.
Some of what makes the UK one so good simply doesn't transfer across to US culture very well, notably Julian's politician figure being replaced by some frat-boy finance bro.
But it seems to be doing well over there so I imagine it'll be the next Friends/Big Bang Theory that goes on for a decade or more...

I loved the American version. I liked that they weren't afraid to deviate from the original, but that's probably essential if it's too succeed over there.
We've never got into Ghosts - moght give it another go from the start.
Maybe I was expecting something more "Horrible Histories"
Love ghosts. Found the American one equally funny but from an American historical perspective.
American version is not bad. Takes a few episodes to find its feet.
Just rather Episode 1 of the latest series. Bang on form
